Courses available at Lisieux College of Allied Health Sciences, Mookkannoor, Ernakulam are affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Kerala.

B.Sc. MLT (4 year Full time Degree Course)

The course, syllabus and examinations are regulated and prescribed by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) Thrissur from time to time. The duration of the course is FOUR YEARS. Maximum period permitted to complete the course is 8 years.

Eligibility

Candidates for admission to the course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or any such similar course recognized equivalent thereto by the Kerala University of Health Sciences with 50% marks in Science Subjects Group II in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English put together with usual relaxation allowed by Government of Kerala for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and SEBC candidates. Students should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the Admission Year.

Mode of Selection

The selection of students for the B.Sc. MLT course shall be made strictly on merit as decided by the competent authority approved by Government of Kerala and Kerala University of Health Sciences and as per guidelines of the respective councils from time to time. Selection Policy of SPMA is followed. The cut-off date of admission to the course is as prescribed by Government of Kerala / KUHS.

Criteria for Promotion

  • A candidate having 80% attendance in theory and practical in all the subjects and minimum required internal assessment marks eligible for promotion to the next higher class up to the final year.
  • The candidates shall be eligible to write the third year examination only after clearing all the papers of the first year and second year examination.
  • The candidates shall be eligible to appear for final year examination only after passing the third year examinations.

Fees Structure for B.Sc. MLT

  • Fee structure is subject to changes / modifications by Goverment / University from time to time.
  • Hostel Facility, Mess charges, etc. are to be paid separately.
  • Caution deposits are refunded only at the end of the Course.

Payment of Fees

Students should pay the yearly fees at the beginning of each year as and when notified. Late payment of the fees will invite fine. If a particular student falls to remit the fee within the stipulated period, he/she will be removed from the rolls of the college. Thereafter he/she may have to pay the re-admission fee. Defaulters will not be allowed to appear for the university examinations. Students should make the payment of examination fees to the college office as per notification of the affiliating university. Students who are leaving the institution after joining a programme are liable to pay the entire course fees. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
