B.Sc MLT (Bachelor of Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology)

Medical Laboratory is one of the corner stone of modern Medicine. Clinical Laboratory test have become key element in most diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for the treatment of Pathophysiological conditions of the body. The physician’s examinations is supported by laboratory investigations of the specimens. It would not be wrong to designate Medical Laboratory personal as the back bone of the clinician.

Bachelor of Science (Medical Laboratory Technology) course was recognized by Kerala Paramedical Council, Government of Kerala and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

Admission procedure:

Total number of 30 seats available out of which 50% (15 seats of Management Quota) will be filled through entrance examination conducted by management consortium and remaining 50% will be filled by Govt. of Kerala as per the prevailing rules.

Scheme of Examination:

Sessional Examination: 3 sessional examinations shall be conducted during each year in each subjects and the average of best of two examinations shall constitute the sessional marks awarded in theory and practical separately.

Annual Examination:

At the end of the each academic year an Annual Examination will be conducted as per University norms.

Govt. sector: Tutor/lecturer in MLT under medical education services Lecturer in MLT under vocational higher secondary education.

Private sector: The laboratory specialist can get excellent job opportunities in modern Multi Specialty Hospital in India and Abroad.
